The keys to longevity after 75!

Psalms 90:10, “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” God has promised His faithful people longer life and a study from the British Medical Journal, August 30, 2012, identified factor which contribute to longer life in those over 75 years old.

They include: not smoking, being normal weight, and not using alcohol which all contributed to an extra year of life. Having a “rich social network” added another 1.6 years. But the factor which contributed an additional 2 years of life was being involved with productive leisure activities (like gardening, sewing and volunteer work). Of course these activities are beneficial in any age group. Why not use these keys to open the door to longer life and better health!
