Diet & blood type

Recent books have been written stating that you should eat according to blood type. This, as with any other odd or new idea, has generated some excitement.

But a close look at this belief from a Biblical standpoint will quickly reveal it is not in harmony with God’s Word and therefore, “there is no light in them.” (Isa. 8:20) Acts 17:26 states, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” It was not until 1901, that the Austrian Karl Landsteiner discovered human blood groups.

How did those who lived before that time live so long, without knowing that they had a blood type? God gave to all men a diet, Gen. 1:29, without reference to age, race, size or blood type. “Grains, fruits, nuts, and vegetables constitute the diet chosen for us by our Creator. These foods, prepared in as simple and natural a manner as possible, are the most healthful and nourishing. They impart a strength, a power of endurance, and a vigor of intellect, that are not afforded by a more complex and stimulating diet.” (MH 296) So lets eat according to the Creator’s plan and not be boggled down with the opinions of finite men!
