Dr. Everton & Sis Ingrid Ennis
Professional Bio
Dr. Everton A. Ennis is Senior Pastor of the New Hope Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church in Ellenwood, GA.
He also serves as President of the Georgia Ministerial Association of the South Atlantic Conference of SDA and a member of the Conference’s Ministerial Advisory Committee. He is supported in ministry by his wife Ingrid, who is CEO of their consulting company, CLASS Act Seminars (subsidiaries include CLASS Act Consulting & Seminars, Conflict Ministry Consulting Service, and Ennis Mediation Service).
Dr. Ennis is a graduate of Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL (BA, Theology in 1999) and the SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI (Master of Divinity in 2001, and Doctor of Ministry in 2014).
Recognizing the dire need to better educate and equip churches and church leaders in conflict ministry, his doctoral work focused on Congregational Conflict Resolution Training. Dr. Ennis is also a Registered Neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution (GODR) in the practice area of General Civil Mediation.
He is the author of an instructional book on congregational conflict resolution entitled “From Holy Hell to Hallelujah Again” (available at ConflictMinistry.com). He is sought after by religious and non-religious organizations and businesses to train and equip their staff, pastors, elders, church boards, and congregations with effective conflict resolution and leadership skills.
His hobbies include traveling, meeting people, reading, writing, shooting pool, playing dominoes, and auto mechanics. His personal and professional philosophy is that: Great things are accomplished, not so much by great men, but by men who take a great God at His word!
