It has been documented that flesh foods are dangerous to one’s health. For this reason over the past 11 months we have encouraged you to abstain from this article of food. But we have also been counseled concerning the free use of sugar and its detriments to the body. “Large quantities of milk and sugar eaten together are injurious. They impart impurities to the system. Animals from which milk is obtained are not always healthy. Could we know that animals were in perfect health, I would recommend that people eat flesh-meats sooner than large quantities of milk and sugar. It would not do the injury that milk and sugar do.” (CTBH 158) It’s interesting that milk can contain up to 20,000 bacteria per milliliter, according to the FDA Pasteurized Ordinance of 2009. Coupled with the fact that sugar paralyzes the immune response, it’s not too difficult to see why large quantities of milk and sugar are not good. So during the holiday season be careful to watch that combination.
