There are many diet plans, weight loss programs and other gimmicks to loose weight. Many have lost scores of pounds in the past, only to see them return in 6-12 months.
So before you go on another diet, try another supplement or gimmick, why not give God’s plan a try! When man was created God specified the diet for him; fruits, grains, nuts and after the fall vegetables. If that’s what the Creator gave, it must be best. Animal products are high in calories and have no fiber, therefore making it very easy to consume excessive calories with only small quantities of food. Refined plant foods, where man has taken the foods that God gave and “changed them” reducing the nutritional value and fiber are also a detriment to a proper diet. These include white rice, white bread, white sugar and high fructose corn syrup. Man has never had a better idea than God. These refined products are available everywhere. Guess why? The enemy has done it.

They impart a strength, a power of endurance, and a vigor of intellect, that are not afforded by a more complex and stimulating diet.” (MH 297)
