You have probably heard that soy products increase the risk of breast cancer and should not be eaten by patients with breast cancer. Soybeans are legumes and are included in the diet chosen by our Creator for your first parents. So when you hear anything that does not harmonize with this truth, then you should questions its validity. In the Journal of the American Medical Association, December 2009 a study from China shows that there is a relationship of soy intake and breast cancer and breast cancer recurrence deaths! The more soy eaten, the LOWER the rate of breast cancer and the lower the death rate from recurrence in women treated for breast cancer. Those women who ate the highest amounts of soy products compared to those who ate the lowest had a 29% reduction in breast cancer and a 32% lower recurrence rate of breast cancer. Maximum benefit was derived from eating 11 grams of soy protein daily. So why not exercise the option of eating more soy product for better health!
