Sunshine and its importance

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;” (Mal. 4:2)

Our loving Father likened the healing attributes of His Son to the healing properties of the sun. We know that vitamin D is produced by the body in response to sun exposure. A recent study showed that lower blood levels of vitamin D in adults when compared to adults with higher blood levels there was:
· A 30% higher risk of hypertension
· A 98% greater risk of diabetes
· A 2.3 times greater risk of being obese
· A 47% greater risk of high triglycerides (Archives of Internal Medicine. 2007;167:1159-1165.)

So for better health make sure you are getting 20 minutes of sunshine every day for better cardiovascular health. God has stated that: “There are but few who realize that, in order to enjoy health and cheerfulness, they must have an abundance of sunlight, pure air, and physical exercise.” (HR April 1, 1871 par. 4) Why not purpose in your heart to be one of the few!
